Refund a counter sale
Refund a whole Retail sale from Sales history: card sales go back to the card through Stripe, cash and check you hand back, and the items return to stock.

Steps
Step 1: Open Retail > Sales history and find the sale.
Step 2: Open its menu and choose Refund sale. The box says what will happen: a card sale is refunded to the card through Stripe; for cash or check you give the money back yourself and the app records it.
Step 3: Confirm. The items go back into stock, the sale shows Refunded, and if the sale was put on a tenant's ledger that charge is voided.
Good to know
- The whole sale is refunded; there is no partial refund. It cannot be undone.
- If a card refund was already made in Stripe, Mark refunded records it without charging again.
