Set up your docks
- Pick the Boat Slip type, number each slip and set its dock as the area.
- Repeat slip numbers per dock: one setting labels them 12 (Dock A), 12 (Dock B).
- Sizes in feet: a slip given only its length reads 40 ft slip.
- Price per foot: 40 ft at $5 fills in a $200 monthly rate.
- Chips for shore power, water, pump-out, 30 amp, 50 amp, covered and pull-through.
- Draw your docks on a site map colored by status.
Each boater's boat on file
- Each boat's type, year, length, hull ID and registration on the boater's page.
- Several boats or trailers per boater, with make, model, plate and notes.
- Upload each boater's insurance proof; the dashboard flags it 30 days before it expires.
- Boaters see their boats on the tenant portal and update the basics.
Slip leases and billing
- Upload your own slip lease as a PDF; boaters sign in person on your tablet.
- Each slip has one monthly rate, and rent posts on the 1st.
- Autopay charges a saved card; email a rent-due reminder from the Reminders tab.
- Prepay a season: record one payment; paid-through moves ahead and rent still posts monthly.
- Deposits, a prorated first month and one-off fees you name yourself.
What boaters see
- Their tenant portal says Slip 12, on their account and on each payment.
- Emails, statements, invoices and your own screens still call each slip a unit.
- Dock or gate codes live in the app; you enter them in your gate controller.
What it does not do
- No nightly or transient bookings: every boater rents by the month.
- No fuel dock system: the Retail screen only rings up items you stock.
- No power meter readings, repair work orders or boat rentals.
Common questions
Is this full marina management software?
No. It rents slips by the month, takes season prepayments and collects the rent, for $75 per facility. It has no fuel dock, repair or transient booking tools.
What does a boater see: slip or unit?
On their tenant portal, slip: Slip 12 on their account, each rental and each payment. Emails, statements and invoices still say unit; statements and invoices add the dock when numbers repeat.
How do I price slips by the foot?
Pick Boat Slip, set the slip's length and type a price per foot; the monthly rate fills in. A later price change does not reprice slips already added.
