Texting and email

Get a texting number of your own

Register your business for its own texting number from the Facility texting tile in Settings, and what to expect from carrier review.

6 stepsUpdated

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Settings. If you see a Facility texting tile, open it. If the tile is not there, email support@storagefacilitycreator.com and ask for it.

  2. Step 2: Business details: enter the legal business name, business type, EIN (or Sole proprietor (no EIN)), registered address, public contact details and an authorized representative, exactly as they appear on your business registration. Click Save and continue.

  3. Step 3: Messaging plan: tick what you will send (payment reminders, past-due notices, gate and access updates, operational notices) and every way your tenants agree to texts. Click Continue to review.

  4. Step 4: Review & submit: check the summary and click Reserve number & submit. You can give a preferred area code.

  5. Step 5: Storage Facility Creator checks the details first, then the carrier reviews them. Review time is about two to three weeks (10 to 15 business days). A rejection restarts it, so the details have to match your registration.

  6. Step 6: Until then, texts go out from the shared toll-free number, and everything in Messaging works the same. The screen shows Texting is live with your Dedicated facility number when it is done.

If a step does not match what you see, email support@storagefacilitycreator.com with the facility name and what you clicked, or use Report a Bug at the bottom of the app sidebar. Inside the app, AI Assistant answers the same questions in your own words.
