Tenants and units

Take a unit out of service or archive it

Mark a unit for maintenance, give units an area so you can filter by building, and archive or permanently delete units you no longer rent.

3 stepsUpdated

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Tenants & Units > Unit List and open the unit. Choose Mark for Maintenance from its menu to take it off the market, or Edit Unit to change its Status, rate, size or Features.

  2. Step 2: To group units by building or row, tick them in the list and click Set area. Pick an existing area or type a new one; the Units and Tenants screens then filter by Area.

  3. Step 3: To retire a unit, open its row menu and choose Archive (hidden, can be restored) or Delete permanently (gone for good). Tick several and use Archive n or Delete n permanently.

Good to know

  • A unit with a tenant cannot be archived. Move the tenant out or unassign them first.
  • Internal use on Edit Unit marks space you do not rent, such as an office; it stays in the list but is never offered online.
