Turn on rent reminders before the 1st
Switch on payment reminders in Settings so tenants who are not paid ahead get an email or text a few days before rent is due.

Steps
Step 1: Open Settings > Notifications.
Step 2: Switch on Enable Payment Reminders.
Step 3: Set Days in Advance of the 1st and the Channel: Email, SMS or Both.
Step 4: Save. Tenants who are not paid ahead get the reminder by email; tenants who have agreed to texts also get it by SMS when the channel includes SMS.
Good to know
- Reminders are off until you switch them on.
- Enable Late Payment Notices, Enable Welcome Emails and Enable Delinquency Notifications are saved but send nothing on their own today.
- One-off reminders: Rent & payments > Reminders > New Reminder, then the send icon (Send now). The Schedules there do not run on their own.
