Enter gate code changes at your keypad

See every gate code added, changed, turned off or deleted in SFC, enter each one at your keypad, and tick it off. Works with any gate.

4 stepsUpdated

Steps

  1. Step 1: Click Access Codes in the sidebar and pick the facility. The Gate changes card at the top says how many changes are waiting, and Access Codes in the sidebar shows the same count.

  2. Step 2: Click the Gate changes card. Each line says what to do at your keypad, such as Turn off code 482193 for Pat Example, moved out, with the units and any days or hours.

  3. Step 3: Make the change at your gate keypad, then click Mark done. Once every change on the list is entered, Mark all done ticks them all off.

  4. Step 4: The Done tab keeps what was entered and when. Download CSV saves the whole list for Excel.

Good to know

  • A change shows up a few seconds after a code is added, changed, turned off or deleted, whoever did it: you, your staff, an online move-in or a move-out.
  • If a code is edited again before you mark it done, the line shows the end result. Edits that cancel out, such as a code turned off and back on, move to Done as Not needed.
  • Only changes made since the list was added to SFC appear. Your staff see it too and can mark changes done.
