Turn gate codes off automatically for late rent
Have a late tenant's gate codes turn off after the number of days you choose, and back on by themselves once they have paid everything they owe.

Steps
Step 1: Open Facilities, then the facility's menu > Edit.
Step 2: Under Billing Settings, switch on Turn off gate codes when rent is late.
Step 3: In Days late before gate codes turn off, enter how many days late (45 unless you change it). The days are counted after the grace period.
Step 4: Click Update Facility.
Good to know
- Each night, a tenant that many days late who owes a balance has their gate codes turned off. They come back on by themselves as soon as the tenant has paid everything they owe.
- Each change shows on Access Codes > Gate changes, so you make the same change in your gate controller, or your gate company's software reads it with a key.
- A code you turn back on yourself, for a tenant who promised to pay, stays on.
- It covers only tenants with a paid through date set, and never rental-house renters. It stays off until you switch it on.
